First is one of our most promising Form 6 students. Over the past 2 years, he has shown unbelievable commitment to his studies in the face of the tremendous hardships facing both his family and the country. He comes from a family of 7 children. His father works driving trucks while his mother and the other children help with the subsistence farming. First would like to become an electrician upon completing his course. His favorite subject at school is Geography, and in his spare time, he enjoys watching movies.

Potipher is another student who is doing his best to make the most of the opportunity offered to him by the Kalai Foundation. Potipher’s family survives entirely on subsistence farming, using whatever crops they can raise to feed the 20 children that are living in the house. Potipher would like to pursue training in Tourism and Hospitality in order to become a manager in a hotel. His favorite subject is Economics, and he enjoys playing soccer in his spare time.
